On Wig Wearing and Very Windy Days

“Oh, keep your hair on…”.
I used to not take it quite
so literally :/

Reblogged this on my new chemical romance and commented:
This girl is magic. And we’re all feeling this today!

Hello again – this is a great haiku 🙂
But I’m not sure how to respond. I too lost my hair – but opted not to do the wig – for reasons like this! (Plus, they were hot and scratchy.) So this seems both sad and humorous at the same time.

I feel more ‘normal’ in mine but it does get whipped off quite quickly when i get home. My boyfriend used to be more paranoid on windy days than i was but it definitely felt a bit more precarious this time round! Quite like wigs – better than my real hair used to be! were you a hat, scarves or an au naturel sort of girl?!! xx

Very cool that you like the wigs and are able to wear them! I went “au naturel” much of the time because the chemo was causing constant hot flashes and making my skin really sensitive. But when I did cover my head it was with a hat. Had a really funky cowboy hat that made me look like Yul Brynner, which was a bit of a laugh. 😉 I went for the outlandish styles. Humor as armor. 🙂
